Ok so I have an 01 Ranger Edge 5 spd. with a leaking slave cylinder. It will need to be repalced but its working ok for now. However, I need to drop the tranny to do this as you all well know. So while the tranny is down. I will be replacing the clutch, even though the one I have only has about 50k on it. Its stock and sucks off road. I'm looking a spec stage II clutch from www.specclutchs.com I wanted to know if anyone has used one of these and what they though. So far though this is the 5th board I have posted on, and I have only found one other member of RPS that has used this clutch on a 4.0 SOHC engeine, and he is 100% street only. Or are they any other upgade options besides the CeneterForce DF??? Thanks guys.

I have never used or heard of the clutch your talking about but I just put a new clutch plate in my Explorer. It is from six States Distrubuters. I re-used my my stock pressure plate. The plate is ceramic on one side and carbon metalic on the other. It has been about 3 months and I have had no problems and no complaints. It cost me $85.00
