let me start of by saying i love my truck.
ok, first
the 4x4 works but is noisy as hell when engaged.
i got manual locking hubs which are great. i click the hubs in and the grinding /scraping sounds start. the 4wd works but the noise is scary. without locking in the hubs and pressing the push button 4wd lights up, and no sounds. but it is when i engage the hubs? please advise?

next,
the truck has 214000kms on it. and now the rear of her when sitting on level ground looks like she is starting to sag. the old springs are getting tried i guess. what can i do here ?

and by looking at this sight the missing anti freeze seems to be a common thing. scary. all this talk about bad heads....very scary.
my symptoms are......no visible leaks, plugs fine(nice tan colour and dry), oil not milky frothy or whiteish, but at times the anti freeze is down. the truck always runs onthe cold side, needle barely moves. last winter i noticed a couple of times though this.
driving along the road,no hot air just cold air...then the tempurture gauge would go high, drive a bit more then the problem would go away. only does it in the cold(very cold weather). has not happened since last winter. seemed as if the antifreeze was freeezing up or i was getting some sort of blockage.
odd?

maybe check what the lowest temp your coolant is good to. it may get iced a little if you have too much water in it...

sorry i can't provide more help :)

Are you sure it's the springs? The rear shackles rust away allowing the body to drop a couple of inches. I've had to replace one of mine for that reason and I've seen others doing the same.
