I've reciently have done the TPS mod to my 1994 X with good results and about a month later my check engine light and my ABS light have been comming on and off almost every time I drive her. The check engine light seems to come on when I doing city driving more than when I on the highway. Anyone think the mod had anything to do with this? I checked the TPS readings to see if they had changed ovtime and they were ok. I'm confused!

To solve the CEL problem, you first need to determine the code that is triggering the CEL.

And with a '94, the only thing you need to run the EEC-IV diagnostic tests is a short piece of wire (a paperclip has been known to serve the purpose). The codes are then output as flashes of the CEL.
