Want to order a rebuild kit today for the transfer case from www.kdsperformance.com for my 97 OHV auto 4WD Control Trac. I've searched and can't find the case number on the board or any literature I have.

it's a borg warner 4405 e i believe. I know it's a 4405 but i'm not sure what the suffix is, there should be a tag on your t-case that will well yoy everything you need to know.

When I bought it 2 years ago it only had a pint of fluid in it. Replaced rear seal but it has always been noisy. Just checked it after vibration started. Flange has about 0.1 inch up down play and rear seal is leaking again. So this bearing ran dry for a long time. About $130 with shipping (no chain).
