Who else watched the i hour special where Ritter's television family deals with the loss of their father?
Boy, run me over with a truck. It was about one of the most heart wrenching things I've ever seen on television. I thought it was well dont though...

To be honest I never really watched it, caught an episode here and there and watched his last three episodes. It really was a good show, the kind of show they dont make much anymore.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with it. I think just trying and showing that in the show was a better tribute to John Ritter than simply cancelling it...

I never really watched it before either, I guess I really wan't much of a Ritter fan, but I think this episode was very well done. It is something that could not have been written in the script and had the same effect. It took a very tragic event and depicted in very real way the emotional struggle after a sudden loss.

I didn't see it, or even know about it. Howard Stern was talking it about this morning, I guess it got the highest ratings of the night (14.something).

He had a few things to say. He said the cast were horrible dramatic actors, Garner is fat and should've died before anybody, and he said the episode was strange because they're acting upset over John's death, whereas if they were really upset, they shouldn't have been able to get through it. Then he went off making fun of a guy that admitted to crying during the show.
