So I have the worlds best Radar Detector, Escort Passport 8500 and I was looking through the manual and was looking at the SWS, Safety Warning System.

I would love to have this working in East MO! That would be really awesome to be given that much info while driving.

Does anyone have the SWS working in their area?

My Kenwood deck gets RDS and some Traffic Information system, so its probably the same thing as your Passport. I've never been in an area where it has worked. Maybe this summer in Charleston I'll hear something.

I went to the site and it says we have a station in my city (which isn't that big), and I've NEVER received anything on my 8500, with SWS on.

But I get nothing either!

I remember driving to FL I was receiving info several times driving though a few areas. It was really nice.
