ok last night i was in the school parking lot and i was messing around with the 4 wheeldrive. Well when i was in 4 High and went to turn it would make this wineing noise that only happen when u turned not when u were going straight. But it did not do this when it was in auto, it does vibrate alittle when ur in auto at a slow speed and turn like into a parking spot....i doubt this is normal...its done the auto thing mostly the hole time we've had it...so if u guyz have any ideas send them this way....thank u in advance...peace

NEVER EVER EVER use 4WD on dry pavement! When you turn you can severly damage vital front end parts. The binding from turning is very dangerous for your truck, so don't do it!

The noise is probably just increased friction from turning on a road that has too much grip for your 4WD system.

the pavement wasn't dry.....it was a sheet of ice....sorry to leave that detail out....deff. ice...
