ok ladies, I'm a 20yo male and only have a diamond stud in my left ear. Been thking about getting my tounge pierced (i like to do favors for clean ladies) as well as a Prince Albert (not sure which one though). What are your thoughts on this?

i got out of my relationship 6 weeks ago and for over 2 yrs i thought it had been me because she was rarely in the mood...after dating a bit and messing around with someone else (seeing as how until then i had only been with the ex), i learned that it certainly wasnt me! that ex of mine was like 19 going on 10...she had lost her virginity at a young age and never really got over it, or him. its one of those where she wants what is not available (currently: me). funny part is, rebound girl was teh same way, when we are at work, she is all up on me but if i want to take her out afterwards she is like, "get off it!"

I'd say to forget the PA. The tounge piercing is enough and should keep your significant other(s) satisfied enough... I'm saying this as a health care worker, we tend to keep out mouths alot cleaner than the lower half of our bodies, so... infection rate is probably alot higher in a PA. scarey to think what kind of crap can get into there ok so I am voting...

i completely understand; my uncle is a PA and had advised me about this but i asure you i am a very clean person to begin with.

Granted we're not monitor lizards (total bacteria mouths), but our mouths arent the cleanest things, whether you try or not... therefore an additional hole isn't the greatest idea.
You can also do damage to the enamel and/or the teeth themselves. Teeth are expensive to fix/maintain and replace.
If you're not that good with your tongue, and feel the need to have to enhance it, there are tapes or some of us that are, who could give you some advice. ;)

We had this girl as a waitress who had it done and she sounded like she was 3yrs old... I kept saying, "what?!" and should've left her a $.02 tip, but tipped an unusual 12% because we couldn't understand her and she left my drink get empty too often. (Maybe she was off tending to her tongue).

IMHO, tongue studs are dumb and ask for more trouble than the potential pleasure you or someone else might get from them... try an ice cube in your mouth instead. ;) No damage, and you wont sound like an infant days after. :p (and no, your mouth wont go numb to where you'll speak funny or drool on your mate :p )

Man i dunno which to tell you. I've had them both, took out both my toungue piercings and the PA, i dunno, they jsut werent as great as i thought. I DO still ahve my nipples pierced still though

I have my nipples pierced too. Girls love to play with them and it feels really good with them pierced. I definitely have no regrets about getting them done.

Personally I would go for a frenum piercing (or ladder if you dare!) if it must be a genital piercing. Less of a hassle, potentially cleaner, and it's been said that a PA is actually found painful by a good bit of women, whereas the frenum is generally more pleasurable. I think my "girlfriend" is getting a 2 or 3 ring frenum ladder for my birthday in a month, very excited.

I don't know about the genital piercings yet, but if you even consider the nipples do it, you'll be happy you did.

The frenum was a little more painful then the PA was. It may also be because I had 3 barbells done at once. Ive heard that the frenum piercings grow out.

Want my opinion? As long as you don't go overboard doing it.

I have two piercings in each ear and I don't even wear earrings that much unless I'm dressing up to go somewhere nice which is rarely. I will never pierce any other part of me

I've had my tongue pierced for about a year now... I forget that I have it done about 99% of the time now. One thing - MAKE SURE YOU GET IT NEAR THE FRONT... the rear is what ladies get to give better uhm... yea. The front is for guys. (think about it) Now, had the lady told me this BEFORE I got it done, mine wouldn't be so far back. But she decided to tell me minutes after I got mine done. Also - it doesn't hurt.. biting your tongue is 100000x worse then getting it pierced.

Girls love the idea of kissing someone w/ a peirced tongue. Also, GET PLASTIC BALLS on the bar, and get a shorter bar... I chipped the inside of one of my molars w/ a metal ball... luckily it wasn't that bad. Also, biting on a metal ball HURTS LIKE HELL... Trust me on this. I'll even send you some plastic tongue rings for free just to make sure you use one. And just suck on a lotta ice afterwards, don't get slurpies like they told me to do.

As for talking... it effected my speech for about 2 days, and it wasn't even that bad. Just try not to eat for a day or so, and then only soups for another day or so.

If you get it, lemme know - I have more info on keeping it clean.

If done properly, it makes your nipples more sensitive, if done improperly you loose all sensation. Most guys enjoy having their nipples played with during sex, from gentle tugging to biting and gnawing. Obviously, if you're into this, heightened sensation is a major bonus. If you don't like yours played with, and you don't need a place for guest towels, there's no point other than decoration.

I've met a few guys who were pierced, none of them feel pain urinating, they just have to sit down to pee at home or wait in line for a stall at the ballpark. Personally, I don't think it's worth the trade off.

Leakage is an issue, you will have to squat. Your own urine is not toxic to your body. It actually aids the process of healing the PA. No greater risk of busting a condom, you can fit one over your head.... put it on right and your all set. And my frumpy came out just fine :) Click on my mug shot to see my frumpy :)

I have never had my tongue pierced, so I am not 100% sure about this, but a good general rule to follow is not to change the jewelry until the piercing is completely healed. On a side note, did you pierce this yourself? As a person who is into the body modification scene, it seems extremely shady that your piercer wouldn't go over this basic knowledge with you :eek:

well, the tongue rins is great, and my girl thinks so too. she especiaolly like my vibrating tiggler. i was able to eat regular food within a week and now, 3 weeks after the fact, its fine. i usually keep a steel bar with clear balls in so its not so noticable, and my speech has been back to normal for a while.

only downside is fiving the raspberry is harder now, and i pretty much cannot lick an envelope.

licking envolopes and swallowing pills takes some getting used to... but u eventually figure it out. i have quite a number of meds i take everyday. and after 3 weeks of having mine im back to normal. wouldn't even notice it anymore if it wasn't for biting that damn metal ball every now and then. ouch!
and someone mentioned about how it can mess up the enamel on the teeth and make your teeth crooked. anyone know what actually causes this? or why?

the metal ball against the teeth can cause it.....that why i have acrylic balls on mine now, clear ones. i was never able to swallow pills until this summer anyways so its really a challenge for me

I got my nipples pierced way back in april of 2004 for my b-day and it wasnt painful at all untill i got my right nipple done it hurt like all HELL! jackie the girl doing it told me one nipple is always super sensative while the other isnt well acouple weeks ago i went to a local hardcore show and i was in the pit and some dude snagged my nipple ring and ripped it out! so far that is the only thing wrong with nipple rings or any type of ring is getting it caught but yes there is a sexual benifit of doing it my girl thinks its super sexy and it makes my nipples extra sensative to touching and licking :D
