OK I don't know if this has been done..Who has the most miles? I know there has been posts on mileage before, but not like this.

Mine has 271,000 km's

Anyone know the conversion to miles? Most of you have miles, so let's do it in miles.

i have 96 K miles on my 2000... hehe beat that...

130,000 on my 98

175,000 on my 95

I believe 1 km = .62 miles.

yup, so bipolarbob has about 169k miles on his truck.

mine has 205,000 miles and counting..

My uncles has 190K on it with the origonal tranny and motor, it is a 97.

206K on my 93 LTD orginal tranny and engine

182k on the 93 original motor and as far as i know the same tranny.

134k on our 97 original motor and tranny also.

My parents have two higher than me:

92 XL 215,000
94 XL 205,000

One thing about the odometer issue is... the 1st gen X's have 5 digit odometer. That would be a more headaches figuring whether the vehicles have 100K, 200K or 300K so on. Since so many vechicles have more than 6 digits mileages.

2nd gen X's have 6 digit and it much easier to tell. I got my 93 X's from my dad in 98 and it was well over 100K and since it has 206K on it. I may try to push to 300K if this X can take it :D

Guess what? In Canada :can:we are luckier, First Gen Explorers have a 7 Digit odometer....It shows 999,999.9 Kilometers...:D

98XLT - 266k

So, 50k+ a year.... and thats not too much.. my step-dad traded in his old X after 2.5yrs with 140K miles on it.

My '94 has 150,000 and my '00 has 50,000. Both are running strong.

ramoan says he had 410K on his back in 2001 who knows what it could have now if its still going, here...

Also Blackmagic said he had 380 on his 91' with the original motor and 2 trannys.

165,000 on my 92 xlt. Original everything except re-built tranny... :( But still runs great. :)

Well here's my totals:


1991 Ex 135,000 miles or 218,700 km's

1993 Ex 133,000 miles or 215,460 km's

1994 Ex 175,000 miles or 283,500 km's

i did the swap for the 5 spd at 165,000 miles, now if i had to guess i would say right around 200,000 miles:D

145,000 miles on mine.

93 EB just hit 100000 two days ago

'94 Limited - 201,098 Miles / 323,636 Kilometers

(That includes about a year, and a few East coast-Midwest Trips where the odometer wasn't connected. Damn warranties and their mileage limits...)

17K on the X
150K on the Ranger. All original, even the exhaust. And that's something to be said, living in the snowbelt. She still run's like the day I drove it off the lot in 93. She has never failed to start for me, even on some of those -25 degree Janurary morns. That's why no one can tell me that Ford trucks/SUV's aren't the best built longest lasting vehicles made. ;) :D

294k miles on our '92 (orig bottom of motor, new heads, 3rd al4d)

227,000 on original A4LD and new heads 4 months before I bought it. I can't complain.

150,000 on my 97 :p

180,000 miles on orginal tranny and engine. No head work or nothing.

the '97 has about 170,000 on it, and the 91 has 168000 on it...good ole fords :)

167,000, still going strong (and i beat the piss out of it) mostly original (tranny, xfer case, engine) *knocks on wood*

I have a '96 XLT with 202,000 miles and one tranny rebuilt, no oil leak, no excessive oil use and etc. Still in good shape, I better knock on wood!

14,500 miles on mine:p

I've got a 93 Eddie Bauer with 187,000 with original engine and trans. Still runs perfect, doesn't leak a drop of oil and shifts great.

175,000mi on my 91 Navajo. Original engine/tranny. No oil leaks/excessive oil consumption. Only had to replace the lower intake manifold gasket and the radiator (stupid plastic endcaps!).

My junk has 224,000 miles, just replaced the motor and swapped to a 5spd. from automatic.
