Hey, Just wanted to write and say that I was out mud bogging to day and was have the best time. The Xplorer was doing really well agaisn't a Jeep Liberty. Then that is when I got stupid and tried to cross a pond that was 100 feet across and 40 feet wide... It really didn't look that deep though.. So I started in and this so far was the worse mistake in my bogging career! In the first 5 seconds my front end dropped a good 3 to 3 1/2 feet. In and this is when I was stuck for good. All I did was spin and get deeper and deeper.. By the end the water was coming in my doors and the engine was half under. The worse thing is that I didn;t get any pictures and it costed my 5 hours and $150 to get me pulled out! But the good news is.. No real damage that I know of yet. I love this truck! Any comments or what I should do to clean tranny and engine and axles? Also does anyone have a winch to sell?

I think you were lucky. Only 150? I had to pay 540 for a tow in Moab when I hit quicksand.:D
Yeah change all of you fluids and keep an eye on everything.
Yea, that was a good day..................you didn't hydro-lock the motor!:)
I'd also inspect your intake. Start with the filter and keep going back until you stop seeing mud or water. Also take care to clean all the electrical harnesses. A little TLC goes a long way to stopping corrosion and wire decay.
