My fuel pump sounds a little wierd. I noticed it has a high pitch buzzing sound. It never had this, but when it is running if I put my head by the rear wheel i hear the buzzing..

is that a problem?

It's common for older fuel pumps to make noise. They can last for hours or years like that.

My '95 had that. It was really annoying when outside the truck. I'm wondering how long it will be before my '03 starts with the high pitch sound.

Im guessing its not really a big deal at the moment, but a new one would fix that right?
