Ok, Blee and I saw the response to the trail run in Md thread and thought "Wouldn't it be cool if we could all meet up for dinner?"

I'm voting for the Greene Turtle in Laurel, sayyyy Saturday february 7th at 7pm? It's central to all of us..Stephen lives in Montmonkey county, Ben's in Howard, I'm in Harford, Monmix is in Anne Arundel, etc.

Hey, count me in!! I live in baltimore county. It was my idea to do a run up @ green ridge in the spring. It'll only take me 20 minutes to get there!!!! Save another seat!!:D

yeah its down the road from there. Don't worry.. I've had my body lift kit in my garage for months collecting dust. Hopefully one day I'll get off my a$$ and do it. I just hope it doesn't take more than a day. I just have to replace my air compressor first, damn sucker seized its motor up during Hurricaine Isabel down in Stephensville (Kent Island area).

Is evryone bringing thier significant other? I have a feeling that mine will not want to sit there all night and hear all of us talk about our trucks. She scolds me for dumping all my money in mine, but nothing in her's.......not much you can do to an xterra ;)

Blee, thanks for the invite on Sat. Feb. 7th. I will try to make it. I am in the military and I should be on leave that week. Now this is just dinner and not a trail run? I just bought my Sport on Oct. 31 and I have never been offroad with it. Also, it is my only means of transportation. Thanks again and I hope that I will see you all there.

Yup its just dinner & some drinking.. Maybe we'll be able to run some trails at a later point. I've been talking back & forth with Maryland mudbugs http://www.marylandmudbugs.com about possibly running some trails with them over in Crofton. They run their trails on Sundays.

if the list desides to get large, i might be up for the 4 hour drive ;)

So far the there are 6 confirmed members that are going at this time. Its up to you Kelli & Doug if you guys want to make the drive down. I know that a 4+ hour drive can be quite eventful especially going down the I-95 corridor. I was tired enough from making the drive up to Rausch Creek Offroad Park & driving back in one day last December. And none of us would want any harm done to you Doug. We just like picking on you. Your lucky you don't live closer to me, otherwise you also would be toilet papered.:p

Well I think we should all make spas figure out how to make this a 2 day thing, driving down just for dinner really isnt worth it. i'll spend more in gas than in food.

Well there are no trails close by in the area that are legal.. I found out today that maryland mudbugs don't have permission to ride in Crofton anymore.. Apparently the property has been sold to another developer and doesn't want them out there.

It HAS to be wheeling? THere are other things to do y'know.... Most are outside and we'd freeze our butts off, but still!

Doug, I was hoping to get you, Justin and Mike down here around February 22nd to go to Ocean City and see the big car show there....there's wheelin in the sand out that way, too! Granted, I'd be very happy to have y'all come down either way, but why not wait for the chance to have a WHOLE weekend experiencing the Maryland way?

Yeah you can only wheel at Assatague Island legally, not sure if there is anywhere else to wheel close by. I've been pondering the idea of asking my neighbors down on the eastern shore where I have some property for deer hunting if I could wheel in their woods but I highly doubt they let me..

Looks like I may not be able to make it. I got a call tonight from my sister in law in WV and they've taken my brother to the hospital, he had a stroke a few years back that left him disabled pretty bad and it looks as though he may have had another one, I'm gonna have to go down there for a couple days, leaving right after I post this...

Now, I'll have my laptop with me and hopefully will be able to check into the site, so 7pm at the Turtle? If everythings under control in WV I may still be able to make it, but no promises. If we don't get it done this time, I'll join you guys for one of those Crofton runs Ben mentioned...

Hopefully we'll see ya on Saturday...

Well, I'm still in for this shindig, and so is Bri as well as one of my coworkers-he really needs a hobby (he's got two X's and they're both stock! )

well I'll be there...... but... cant say that my truck will be, its stilllll in the shop getting the final touches to the exaust done, though it would be done but the shop its at the mechanic was off for a week and the owner of the shop was going to do all the work but has just had 3 hernias operated on so he couldnt do any of the lifting, so as of tonight the truck is almost done, but dont know if it will be streetable cause I still have some wiring to do :fire: :frustrate:

I invited my coworker, but he never got back to me so I'll just say it's Bri and I definitely going. Don't get disappointed Ben- it's standard practice for a few people to have last minute emergencies or end up working. Happens ALLLLL the time! :)

Well obviously I didn't make it, its 7:30 on Saturday. My brother is doing fine, it was a mini-stroke and there doesen't seem to be any damage. They changed some of his medications and they're discharging him tomorrow morning, so after that I'll be headed home.

We don't wheel anywhere not legal and there isn't anything legal in Maryland. You have to have written permission from the owner of the land to wheel. I know of the place you are referring to, when I was younger I used to wheel my 4 wheeler thru there but stopped since it is illegal and they have been cracking down since a kid got injured wheeling there.

I get my truck worked on by the people that own it. Its the lot of land that Nascar was looking at to build on, but couldn't come up with the right amount of money. :cool:

it's down in Baltimore at the convention center.....pretty much a car show with evrything from hot rods to imports......theres probably 4 or 500 cars......a couple of guys from my shop are in a club that show their cars evry year......it's a good time!!!

Think WAY custom, and restored with out a single flaw.
There is some impressive stuff out there and some real gawdy ( sp? ) stuff too.

The Diner is way before the Harley Store, actually. It's on the same side of route 40 as Chesapeake Trucks, but about a mile more towards Baltimore. They have pretty decent food.. depending on how late we're there, y'all are welcome to come shoot some pool with me too, if you like!

Yes, it's on the inside of the beltway- take the exit for Route 40 west (baltimore), not Aberdeen.. it's about a mile after that on the right. We're probably just going to hop on 40 and take it straight from the convention center though.

Hey....sorry I couldn't make it but I worked until 9....There were a whole bunch of people from my work down there with thier club called "NO TUBS" they had a black and gold mustang, 2 rail cars, 57 belair, 82 t-bird and many more.....I am going to try to get down there tomorrow!!........Oh yeah....that 3000gt above.....what a piece of work!!! I saw him 2yrs. ago and last year at carlisle.....and each year that car just keeps getting better!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!
