For you guys with manual transmisions prefer 1st gens, where do you store your PS2s, XBox's, and TV screens and alll at? And if I stuff the game systems in the console would it be ok to lay them face up?

i know this is kind of old...in my 92 sport it was a 5spd and i had an indash dvd player...as far as ps2...i just let that sit on top of my seat in the back because i took it in and out of my truck a lot...in my 93 eddie bauer it fits perfectly under the seat...if you wanna see pics i can send you some

if you can post it here for us all,I converted to jeep style seats that sit a little lower so under the seat is a no-no for me

The biggest concern with home electronics in the car is heat distribution and ventilation.the direction products are mounted seldom matters unless vents are being covered.
the p/s2 vents are mounted on the front not the bottom, it was adertised to be able to stand on a table on its bottom or on its side.
most video machines are disigned like this now, becuase you stereo head or cable box with vents underneath are on a shelf. many people transport their games around putting them on a carpets, the leggs sink in the vent touch the floor and the machine has a premature death.
