Check out www.tirerack.com , www.discounttiredirect.com, and www.NTB.com
They all have wheels to look at and also have a link to "see rims on your vehicle"
or a similar one.

You dont specify which direction you want to go with this... do you want an aftermarket rim... or a higher option Ford rim?
The OE rim is the way I went...I found a set on craigs list off a limited explorer. $400 including new tires + my old rims. (I needed new tires anyway)

Before

After

I also went OEM, but went a little retro.

These are 2nd Gen wheels. The offset pushes these wheels out some. The tires showing are 245/75/16. The tires on the wheels now are 275/70/16.

A small lift would be best. Maybe a 2" front and 1.5 rear? Roadbully has you covered for the lift. So you want to keep the stock 16's now? I think some good chrome 18's with the BFG's would look sweeeeet!

you can fit 265/75/16 stock, which is roughly a 31.8" tire (if my math is right).

265/7x's look better with 16's or 17's imo.

WOW, that sucks. That is unfortunately a problem with very low profile tires. That's one reason I decided to run 20's with a larger sidewall. I have A LOT of potholes in my area, some are unavoidable.

I went by the local Ford Lincoln Merc dealer tonight and saw these rims on a 08 Mountaineer. I must buy these and change the center caps.

wellllllll this was an unusual circumstance. When I was ran off the road I jumped a curb and pulled a Duke of Hazard into a drainage area. I stepped the area and I flew in the air at least 25-30'. I hit hard enough to total my explorer...not many wheels would have survived it

I say throw some 4's on it

Just fitted 295/35/24 tires and they fit! Now 255/30/24 are obsolete.

Wait till I post pics! Now we can all get 24's AND fill that UGLY wheel gap!
