Can I adjust the WP Pulley?
I just replaced the belt, and now there are some bad sounds, whoshing and "churing". Looking at the belt its off at the Water Pump by about a 1/4" twords the front , So can the pully be adjust ? or can anything elce be adjusted to get it back in wack.
Thanks.

The belt is on correctly everywhere else? Just not the water pump?

Yes its on right. Or could it be backwerd. Then again it could be that all the other pullys are out of wack.

Did you have a problem before you changed the belt? Take the belt back off and check the idler pulley.

Yeah, no problems like this befor. Even taking off and putting back on the belt had no effect(x2). After doing that I noticed that the belt was out of wack on two of the pullys, the water pump and the crank shaft. The belt is off the both of them about the same, 1/4".

Are you sure you have the correct belt, and did you follow the diagram under the hood?

Short answer is no.. The water pump pulley is just bolted on. In "theory" you "could" use washers as spacers to pull the pump out some, but you should never need to do that. Something else must be wrong.
