Thumbs up 02 Island Blue Edge

I would post pics right now but cardomain seems to be down at the moment.

Just for general knowledge (about the Edge models): all Edges with 4 doors (supercab) have a 3.0 and do not come with a 4.0. All 4x4s come with 4.0. The 4.0 extended cab Edges do not have 4 doors, just 2. I'm also farely certain that they don't do the 3 door cabs anymore. Why it is like this I have no idea. It seems pretty ignorant to even offer a 3.0 V6 and if you are going to do an extended cab why wouldn't you make it a 4 door? The 4.0 can do circles around the 3.0. Every time I drive the wife's explorer and get back in my Edge, I get depressed. I do love my truck though.

I'm in the process of raping any Explorer that I can find in a junkyard to mod and improve my Edge. I recently aquired bucket seats, the overhead console and the rear disc brake assemblies from 2 99-00 Explorers. Can't wait to get this stuff installed. I also plan on finding 3.27 rear diff to install. That will help big time with fuel mileage.
