Vehicle Specs

Sams Club has a good deal on BFG Trail T/A. They also carry the Pirelli Desert Dog in the same size for about the same price. I have read the postings recommending the BFG All Terrain T/A and the Pirelli Scorpion, but both tires are about $25 more expensive per tire.

Three questions: First, does anyone have any experiece with the Trail T/A?

Second, does anyone have any experience with the Desert Dog?

Third, Any recommendations between the two?

Thanks for the help,
Mike

The choice between the BFG Trail T/A and the BFG All-Terrain T/A will depend on your driving conditions. If you don't go off-road that much then go w/ the Trail T/A, if you go off-road 25% of the time or more, go with the more aggressive tread pattern and tougher sidewalls of the AT. I was also looking at getting a set of the Trail T/A's, just out of curiosity, how much is SAM's selling those for? I see they are about $95 per tire for 235/ 75 QR 15 C RWL on www.tirerack.com.

Steve,

The Trainl T/As are going for $74.99 each. That includes the mounting/balancing/taxes/disposal/etc.

The All Terrain T/As are about $20 more per tire.
