A/C clutch engaging/disengaging constantly
I have had this problem forever. If a/c is on or off, the clutch is constantly engaging and disengaging. I went to the dealership about it, and they said that they couldnt really do anything unless I converted all the seals and plugs to new ones (or something to that effect, must be the R-12/R-134a conversion I am reading about on here, but I paid them their $300 anyways because I really didnt want to deal with it). So after they upgraded all that stuff, they concluded there were no leaks and didnt know why it was still doing it.
My question is: any suggestions AND how can I turn it off. I dont need A/C and I have to make a 8 hour trip on Sunday and its really annoying having the clutch going on and off all the time when driving on the highway because I can feel the drop in HP. Thanks in advance, Cory |

Just unplug the plug on the clutch.
A system with a good charge that does that often has a plugged orifice tube. |
