Firestones on Chevy's

I work at a carwash, so I get an opportunity to see a lot of the newer vehicles close up, sometimes brand new ones driven straight off the lot. The other day, I noticed that a lot of the newer Chevy full size SUVs had Firestone tires on them. This lead me to believe that they were being shipped from the factory like this. Anybody know if this is true?

I find it especially interesting, because the new Trailblazers are being shipped with BFG's.

Just something I thought was kind of interesting, and hey, let the Chevys have the FS's! :p

Yes, Chevy trucks come with Firestones. We had an '01 Chevy 2500 4x4 at the site I just worked at that had Firestones on it.
