Max size tire for Sport trac?

I wondered if anyone knew of the maximum tire size (for off-roading) for an 01 Sport Trac (4x4) w/ 16x7" wheels. I have P255 70R 16's, and after doing the TT and Warrior's they are completely dwarfed. I know of people puting 285 75 16's on (just shy of 33's).... but they don't off-road theirs... so they may not 'rub' all the time, but they don't know what the off-road traits will be either. On the other end, I've read of a guy with the TT/Shackles and 3 in body lift running 33's. Any help would be appreciated.
