Thumbs up New Firestones!!!

I got the new Firestones for my Explorer today, 36x12.50 TSL Radials. Man they are tall, very skinny though. I mounted them on my stock 7" wheels so I'm not quite sure what they measure out to. I don't know how those guys at 4x4 shops mount 44" tires. I was sweating profusely after the second 36". Didn't help that the tire machine wasn't bolted to the floor.

Sorry for the poor quality picture it was very dark out when I got home.

I want to see pics of the wheel well mods that are coming... You're going to have to do something in that area behind the door.

Hey maybe he will get another little scratch like his last one when he backed out of his driveway and hit that pebble?

So are the Firestones? Swampers? Or is Firestone using the TSL name now er what? Not to mention, I thought the biggest Firestone 33's?? Am I missing something or am I being retarted?

They are Swampers. I thought that here of all places somebody might understand the Firestone reference but I guess it is just a little bit too subtle for you Explorer guys. :p

Nice buy Paul!!!!

Glad to have you in the club of a true 36" tire on a X. Hope your TSL radials are as good for you as they were to me. Just let the sidewall loosein up alittle bit and you'll have a pretty wide 12.50" foot print. Mine aired down to 15 lbs. match up to a 14.50" tire width with 20 lbs. in it. They'll get fat......trust me!!
