Now 3-36 on Ford remanufactured

tranys and long blocks, with all the talk about bad tranys just wanted to let you in on the new warranty program, this just started 8/1/2002 3 years/36,000 mile before they just had a 12 mounth 12,000 mile warranty.

Are saying they changed the 3 year/36,000 mile warrently to 12 month/12,000 mile warrenty? I don't think I quite understand what you mean.

That's really good news. When my tranny goes, I may look to Ford for the replacement. How much do the rebuilt trannies cost anyway?

Man it will be nice once Ford starts doing the 10 year 100k warrenty like the Kia's. If Maranda and I were not in a brand new house we probably would have a brand new Kia Mini-van just because of their great price and warrenty!

Ha if Ford started that they would go broke for sure. Its nice to hear the 3yr 36k on long blocks and trannies. Since mine was put in last month I'm on the 12 month 12k. Oh well the way this FQR is running, I expect it to poop before this years end. So nice to get a new trannie and have it run worse than the one taken out!
