front diff leaking oil

my front diff started leaking oil today. what does this mean and how much would it cost to repair, if needed

well its alot to GEt it repaired, but only about 10 bucks for the seal.... just as long as there is fuilid in there your ok.... mines damp... but i check it here and there to see if i need fluid....

if you know what you are doing.... where is it leaking from? the diff seal is going to require dropping the diff...and shouldnt be attempted by a regular handyman if you dont know what you are doing.....

I just did this yesterday, the seals for both sides cost about $20 a pair from napa w/ a discount. It wasnt bad to drop everything to pull the diff out. Took me about 1/2 a day to get it out with 2 people. I would not recommend doing it unless you have a big tool collection because it took alot.
