Thud from tranny/clutch area

In the past few weeks, I have noticed a loud thud comming from around where the tranny meets the motor. I doesn;t happen often, but enough times to notice. It feels like someone hit the floorboard with a sledgehammer. It happens when accelerating, and only when starting in first, or shifting to second. I am concerened my truck is about to dump the tranny on the road somewhere.

Looks like a defective tranny mount. When you revv the X the engine moves along the tranny due to the torque, so maybe because the tranny mount is broken some part of the gear box hammers the floor.

Check it out if you please.
