Mine is leaking as I'm sure others are. The inner and outer seal are $5. Has anyone tackled this fix before? Any special tools I need or things I should watch out for when I drop the pan?

Ya I was gonna do that anyway. Its only $30 for a new filter and gasket. And then I'll flush it using the two bucket techinique.

Again
Bringin this one back up again. Ford quoted me $145 to change the seal, that's 2.5 hours labour and a $5 part. That seems a litttle much. Come on there must be someone who's done this and can give a little help on what involved to take the shift linkage out of the tranny and change one tiny o-ring and one little seal.....
ANyone????
