Questions about rims
I wanna put 33x12.5 tires on my 91 X...I will do a big enough lift so i have limited trimming but i wanted to know what do i do about 4wheel drive and the locking hubs?....where can i get black rims that would adapt to that?..im very confused about wut goes into the locking hubs and what happens when u buy aftermarket rims.
Thanx Jay |

Almost all the after market rims have a large enough hole in them for your hubs to stick thru. You just have to make sure you buy the rims that are for a Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) application. If you still dont think they will fit over the hubs then messure the hole in your stock rim and then messure the hole in the rim you want to buy. But most typically 99% of the RWD application rims will fit your truck the back spaceing is more of a concern imo. If you get too much back spaceing the tire rubs on the inner fender well and radious arms constently, too little and your tire sticks out so far bushwackers wont keep you from getting a ticket.
Good Luck finding the rims you want. |

Yup, you just have to measure the hub diameter and make sure they'll fit. Some wheels designed for Jeeps will have too small of a hub hole, but most other rims will fit.
3.75 backspacing is best.
