99 sport perfect combo lift/tires what you would do

Hello, i've done a bunch of searches for what to do to my 4x4 99 sport and there are so many different options concerning tire size/lift and trimming. I was hoping some of the seasoned veterans could enlighten me with some OF THE MORE POPULAR AND 'PREFERED' combo's for someone with a stock 99 explorer sport with stock wheels. Here are some concerns:

1. How much lift (height gain AND manufacturer):
2. Tires- size AND brand:
3. Trimming- How extensive:
4. Cost- How much?:
5. Concerns- Ok for highway?good for trails? tires don't last long? lift eventually sags?

Feel free to post multiple times with different approaches.

I know i am asking a lot, so if you don't have the time, feel free to ignore me.

2. 35" BFG Muds

3. Little trimming

4. If you install it yourself.. bout $3100 maybe

5. Won't stay in alignment. Will need new gears. Bearings will need to be changed with every oil change.

You make is sound like so much fun lol.

He aint jokin, it becomes a total pain in the ass when you get that high and start to stress everything on these trucks. But, if you do a 3"BL and TT and Shackles you can fit 33s with minor rubbing. There are several people on here that have done that...check out this , http://www.bargeron.com/jasonb/ JasonB has a 99 or 2000 with a 3 inch BL and TT and Shackles with 33" Mastercraft mudders and barely rubs at all and looks mean as hell too.

I did 4" superlift, 3" BL, and Torsion Twist/Shackles. With 35" BFG Muds. Came out to about $3200-3300 for all that stuff. Section just about hit it. $1450 for the kit, $1100 for 4 tires like $180 a piece. $110 for each rim. Then tax, and alignment, warranty junk like that.

Of course it cost a bit more to regear (4.56) and a 70%/30% LS (should have gone detroit). Even though I've only had 1 issue with the LS so far. I did manage to pull a stuck Chevy out of 2 feet of mud today though. That stuff came out to I think about $1400-$1500 installed.

I did have to do a good amount of trimming, some have to do more than others, I think I'm the one that made up for all the people that barely had to trim.

I was informed that all Explorers 95-97 need to get
"Torsion Bar Isolators" installed when they put the 4" superlift kit on, dunno about the other kits. The Isolators keep the torsion bars from floating around. The 98+ have em already. They were $110/pair and $100 installed. It leveled my X, my X was sagging 3" in the front, now its like 1/4"-1/2" lower, but looks just perfect. It only took me about 4 months to finally fix that problem. The isolators look like a Blue/Gray square Ash tray, they aren't the little rods with rubber on em like I thought.

Dunno what else to add in here, if you haev any questions, I'll try to answer em.

Hey Klowns.. Your Isolators were 100 for the Pair????
I went and ordered them at the ford shop and they were 56 dollars and that was including getting them next day aired to the ford shop.

As long as everythings fixed though...

Yeah I knew they were ripping me off, but it would of taken a week to get them otherwise, and they could get em next day or something, and I didn't really care that much.

I feel like its starting to sag a bit in the front again, prolly just my imagination. I'll measure tomorrow though. It was 43 1/4" in the front and 43 3/4" in the back, when I got it back from them, with em in.
