Best time to buy for best deal.

I know some of you guys have worked or work in a tire shop. I am in the market for some new rims and tires, and was just wondering when the best time to buy for the best deal would be? End of month? Any specific month? Just tryin' to save some money.

Not that I work in a tire shop but, I can't imagine that there would be any specific time to buy that would be cheaper. Just check your local paper (Sunday is best cause of all the ads) for sales.

The only reason I ask this, is because I've always heard the best time to buy a used car is at the end of the month, if sales are down and you walk in with cash, they are likely to be more responsive to your offer. A lot of tire shops are commissioned sales, so I thought it might be the same way, just didn't know for sure, that's why I'm asking.

I think it would be in the fall for anywhere that gets snow, most people don't get new rims just before winter.
