Question will 31's cause vibes?

because they are not factory specs will they cause any vibes at high speeds? like the famous 60 mph shake? i just posted in another thread how my mechanic said the cause for the shakes was bad tires. they are cupped and wearing uneven. anyway, i was planning on getting new tires, 31's rather than the 235/75/15 factory specs that are on there. i heard 31's may affect the speedo a little(i don't care) but i don't wan't them to cause any shakes or anything cuz they are bigger. any thoughts?

If you have proper alignment, balancing, and shocks, then larger tires will be fine.

i have always balanced and rotated the tires, i think they wee just no names that sucked. it has been aligned twice in 4 mos so it waasn't that. and i have replaced my shocks twice in 6 mos. i now have edelbrocks which i like, and they replaced the kyb's i had b/c i didn't like ride. too rough. i keep up on the maintenance so it was the tires that were bad. they wore from 95% new in one year to cupped and uneven.
