Hello, my name is Ian / Redstar.. been browsing around the ORR/Explorer forum network since I bought my truck a few months back after my car was totaled.. anyway.. my truck is a 94 ext. cab 4.0l 4x4 5 speed manual with 170k miles..I know it's not an explorer but the drivetrains are almost identical i believe.. at least for the 90-95 explorer/ranger.. I bought the truck with a busted transfer case.. im assuming that pussy electronic shift motor is to blame, since the previous owner said he had not engaged 4x4 more than a few times since he bought the truck new in 95.. I have an 8.8 rear with LSD (i think) and 3.73 gears.. I also have an el'cheapo drop bracket superlift for my I-beams and radius arms.. Since this is my first truck.. I still have alot to learn.. I am currently attending school at MMI (motorcycle mechanics institute) at phoenix, arizona.. Im fairly competent with motorcycles, however, im still a rookie when it comes to trucks..
