Has anyone tried the new Goodyear MT/R?

They look great and have had great reviews in the magazines. Anyone out there have personal experience?

Hey I have a friend that has them on his toyota , he has 31x10.50's on 15x10 eagle 589's and he really likes them he has had them on for about fifteen thousand miles, they pull reall good to . The best tire I have ever had I have had on my 98 and they are the new buckshot maxxis mudder's . I like my friends tires alot and was going to get some of those but mine came up cheaper.($380) Hope this helps you . Are you certain your friend has 15,000 miles on a set of Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's? As of two weeks ago, Goodyear told me they had not been released yet. The MT/R is a totally different tire than the MT. Like Rick, I have been wondering if anyone has seen the tire or has any experience with it. I've seen the features in the magzines also, as well as the competitors in the Rockcrawling Championships that are using them, although I was told that those tires were hand made, instead of coming off of the production line.

Anyone out there have the straight skinny on this issue?

sorry guys I was thinking about the mt's I just didnt read close enough, what tire are you all talking about , what magazine is it in.
