Do you have photos of your Ford Explorer or Ranger before and after your modifications? This is the place to show them off. In order to post photos here you need to link to photos which are already on the web. Read the FAQ for more information
I wish I would of painted all the suspension and undercarriage parts before I installed the lift kit; but I was too excited to get the kit on and make sure those 34's were going to fit. Well, now I finally got the time to do it, and well I wanted to show you all as well. I've seen a few post about "what to paint my underbody with" or something of that nature. Here's another write up by me: :p What Is Exactly Needed: I used a truck bed coating for the painting, but you can use anything such as just black spray paint, rustoleum, undercoating, POR15, or you can expensive and get it powdercoated   You will also need something to tape up such things as your differential cover (unless you are painting...
Here we go! First of all, sorry for my poor english. Here is the stock pics. It was stock in summer 2007, except welded rear diff and TT. In august during a ride, I Hydrolocked the block, and it was the end for the 4.0L SOHC. I bought a 1990 F150 with 302 engine and manual trans. It was supposed to be a little project, and keep IFS suspension... But it doesn't stop here.... The truck isn't ready to ride, it will be ready before winter. Leave comments!
I know that it may not seem like much to many of you but for those like myself, sitting around with a bucket of rust and very little budget... This is a 1950 Ford, F1 pickup body being installed on a '92 4X4 Explorer chasis. Also known as "Project Insanity". I just had to post this because I feel like I got over a major speed bump tonight! It's all I can do to come in from the "Man Cave" tonight when I know that a simple all-nighter would have the rest of the front end on by morning...
Rick, Great site! More information here than Ford could probably give me:D (enough cheezin'?). Q is,..I know there are 2500 members+-, Do you have a before/after picture gallery? I've seen the pages where there are separate pages for more modified explorers and slightly modified. I also understand you don't have a 'pentagon-sized' data-bank to hold everyones truck pics but just out of curiosity. Is that 'thread'/page on the horizon? Like the dirty truck contest page your thinking about:cool::exp:Thanks!
Pavement pics suck... Lets see her in action! I had to wait till I had some real fun after I finished the lift to post pics... No one wants to see pics of pavement queens... so here's Adry in action on September 6th. Since its a Before & After forum, i'll post this boring pic first.... Now the ones we all wanna see.... the SMACK DOWN of the night! He did a complete flip and landed on his back... haha... And a Jeeper... its allowed because she's cute

Well it is about time to do the deed to my truck. I have owned it for around a year, and now this weekend the major mods will begin. I am not really sure how to list the progress of my explorer's transformation. I will update/edit this post as the project goes along. Here is a pic from when I first bought her. This is a pic of the push bar Sidewalk hooked me up with. It also has a set of Pilot projection fogs and is waiting for a set of KC Dayliters. Here is a pic of the bar with lights on. It will look much better and work better with the KC's on there. This is the last major thing to do with the pushbar. I finaly got around to adding my tow hooks. This is a pic of the passenger side hook. Both are fastened with...
