I have a pair of brand new U-bolt and shock skid plates specifaclly made for the rear of a 1st or 2nd gen Explorer. They are 1/4" plate and protect your u-bolts and raise the shocks up a few inches. These are made for 5/8" U-bolts which are bigger than the stock ones so if you dont have 5/8" ubolts now would be the time to upgrade. These may cause shock to swaybar mount interference so shocks should be mounted body side up or if you have removed the rear swaybar it is a non-issue. Also note these raise the shock up 2"-3" so shock length could be an issue depending on your lift and shock length. Current price for a pair is $215 shipped to the US due to the high cost of steel right now.

For sale I have a Explorer Express Supercharger Kit for 1996-2001 Ford Explorer's with the 5.0 V-8. Obviously this kit will work on any 5.0 with explorer FEAD and running coil packs. I have a 1999 4x4 4 door explorer with a bad transmission but the motor runs great. It has 14x,x.. miles on it. I have decided I'm going to put my 5.0L out of my '97 in it because it is a better body so I'm putting the 4.0 up for sale. Again, it is a OHV not a SOHC engine. I am selling a kit form winch bumper for the second gen explorer. It bolts to the factory frame mounts that get some reinforcements added. You will need to provide the mounting hardware which is grade 8 bolts. You will also need to provide a 34.5" long piece of 2 inch square tube. This is a weld together kit. I just finished building this conversion for my truck, and decided I want to stick with the stock tie rods for now and I could use the cash for other things right now, so I have this complete conversion up for sale. Passenger's side was built last weekend and installed for 1 week of street driving, driver's side was built yesterday, installed, and then immediately taken off. This kit has not been installed or used on my vehicle. It was briefly installed and tested on a Explorer by the company prior to shipping it out to me for quality control.
