I got this off of a 1st gen explorer at a junkyard and used it on my 2nd gen for about a year, but I no longer use it and it doesn't clear my leaf springs/shackles. It is possible to trim part of the plates that go up to the frame though if there is a clearance problem, but my springs aren't stock and have been relocated, so I don't know for sure if anyone else will have that problem. It bolts to the frame with no drilling in 4 places so it is very strong, and I'll include all the hardware. I was able to fit a 31" spare still also. You can see where the spring/shackle will contact the vertical plate, but there is room to trim it if needed. $40, local pickup from Long Beach only.
Here's link to my ebay but we can do deal outside ebay. Item located in 07010, I can ship if you arrange it otherwise local pickup. https://www.ebay.com/itm/266209589048?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fusaw-18SzW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=fusaw-18SzW&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I've got 16 of these mounts, they're made of 3/4" steel plate and the base dimension is right at 6" x 5.25". I have nuts and bolts (2 3/8" long) for about 8 of them. They were used as lifting points for pre-fab concrete buildings, so they're extremely strong and there's no concern of bad welds. I'll take $10 for 1, $5 for any extras you want, shipping will depend on how many you want. They'll fit into some of the flat-rate priority mail boxes, so it'll be very reasonable.
I have an extra set of Total Chaos (or comparable) U-bolt Relocation Plates, which space the u-bolts out further from the leafs so the nuts are up next to the leafs instead of below them, giving you more ground clearance. Got them at the swap meet brand new, had them TIG welded and powdercoated black, and then never installed them. Just like this, but this pic is off the internet: Looking for $75 OBO.
