Before: After: I had just bought the truck for 4k with just over 100k miles on it, was just going to be a daily driver but decided to make it a capable off road vehicle. Soon you will see the transformation of this truck into the ZAPV or Zombie Assault Preparedness Vehicle. This is how I got the truck. I decided to put bed liner on all of the plastic parts, and it looked good. At this point I thought I was done with the body (foolish me) I was going to settle for a good looking with minor capabilities truck. I soon grew tiered of all the plastic wrapped around the truck, and the fact that the bed liner wasn’t sticking to it, so I pulled all of the plastic off and started over. I filled all of the holes left by the...
Plagorizer, I know...:D I recently acquired this ugly 1996 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4X4 with 197k, for $700. It has some things that it needs, but then again, what would you expect from a $700 Explorer? -Needs a Transmission, or reverse ring (reverse is out)-FIXED -Roof liner is toast-FIXED -Rear drivers side quarter panel is crumpled from guard rail hit -Both bumpers are junk-FIXED -roof has 2 dents-FIXED -roof rack is all bent-FIXED -Front drivers side fender is pushed out (common problem from the "Wal-Mart Kid" jacking vehicle up in wrong place).-FIXED -Grille is crap-FIXED I could keep going for another 30 things. If you saw my thread, I had a chronicles going on putting a 5R55E transmission into the place of my old 4R55E...

Well I finially got a lot of stuff done over thanksgiving break. Finially got rims, as seen on Tommy98016's Saleen and expo5.0's ex. Also tail covers made by expo5.0. Tinted the tail lights, painted the calipers and anti-sway bars, and painted the tail light covers. Mods shown: 18" Saleen rims w/ Yokohama AVS S/T tires Explorer Express anti-sway bars. Painted calipers Custom tail covers w/ tinted tails. Clear corners. Questions: -Should I remove the pinstripe? -Should I paint front+rear bumpres & the side moldings white? -Should I remove the side moldings? (maybe some photoshop gurus could gimme examples?) Here are pics of what a 1995 stock limited explorer looks like, minus the white tail wing (I...
I know that it may not seem like much to many of you but for those like myself, sitting around with a bucket of rust and very little budget... This is a 1950 Ford, F1 pickup body being installed on a '92 4X4 Explorer chasis. Also known as "Project Insanity". I just had to post this because I feel like I got over a major speed bump tonight! It's all I can do to come in from the "Man Cave" tonight when I know that a simple all-nighter would have the rest of the front end on by morning...
