Well, I figured this should go here cause I wanted to show you guys pics of AFTER some jerk broke into my truck, and after I put in my new driveshaft. I also wanted to show a couple flex shots from my X in my driveway cause I got to use a digi cam and I think it's cool :p Anyways, here's the dash after my HU was ripped out... I just took it off and it's ugly as sin now: And here's the new driveshaft...well, it's still an old one but I got it lengthend and they put new tubing on it, so it looks all nice, new, and pretty... And number 2, complete with my name spelled incorrectly on it :D Now for the urban wheeling pics...this is my truck in my driveway, where I managed to get a little flex out of her (you can tell...
Finally got some pics of recent changes: here's the link For some before pics (somewhat): click here I painted the front bumper, took off the valence, added tow hooks, got black rock crawlers, Xterrains, painted a bit of the interior, got a new stereo because the other one crapped out, new door speakers too (but no pics), and took off the nerf bars... I've had the reverse gauges for a while, but never took pics until now.. The paint on the doors is holding up for the most part.. The cargo area didn't, so I've gotta work on that.. It's still very much in the works, but let's here your thoughts!

Well it is about time to do the deed to my truck. I have owned it for around a year, and now this weekend the major mods will begin. I am not really sure how to list the progress of my explorer's transformation. I will update/edit this post as the project goes along. Here is a pic from when I first bought her. This is a pic of the push bar Sidewalk hooked me up with. It also has a set of Pilot projection fogs and is waiting for a set of KC Dayliters. Here is a pic of the bar with lights on. It will look much better and work better with the KC's on there. This is the last major thing to do with the pushbar. I finaly got around to adding my tow hooks. This is a pic of the passenger side hook. Both are fastened with...
I have been trying to figure out what i wanted to do to my X to make it more useable in the way it was designed. Since i have plans to add a boat to my garage this summer I figured what better time to get myself a new Reese tow package. This one is the V-5 6,000 lb Unit. It took me about an hour and a half since i was cruising along with Mr. Michelob on the project ;) http://www.boomspeed.com/puppies/bump1.JPG http://www.boomspeed.com/puppies/bump3.JPG http://www.boomspeed.com/puppies/bump2.JPG
I just bought a new camera and had some fun. Following are pics of my new (painted) fenders, close up trimming shots, and a few others. Sorry if they take a while to load. My hood scoop should be coming soon and should be installed by early November. I'll also be putting on some new "supercharged" stickers then, replacing the ones that were on the old fenders. Enjoy the pics!
