this prolly wouldnt work for us since our headlights are the kind with both high beams and low beams. but since alot of us have driving lights, those could prolly be used for uppers and upgrade the lowers like this: http://www.bmwe34.net/E34main/Upgrade/More_light.htm my freind did this on his accord, the lights are still aimed in the stock position (so they arent blinding people) he used stock honda 9005 and 9006 bulbs, he did it one side at a time, the conversion made the stock honda low beams look yellow, while the other stock bulb looks like a hyper white, it is really impressive
I have some questions about Hella and PIAA I was thinking about getting and OUtland grille guard and it has 4 mounting spots for auxiliary lights. I was wondering if the Hella 1000FF is any good. But then for a larger light how about Hella 210 Motorsport. But then theres PIAA 60 XT and 520 Series. Any opinions on them? I am leaning toward PIAA, but I wanted to hear what you guys had to say first. Also, while I was on Hellas site, I saw their "raintronic" device, any experience witht these? Thanks alot guys, Grant [Edited by 95ExplorerLtd on 11-25-2000 at 02:09 PM]
Hey, anyone ever tried to wire in fog lamps with that switch that says driving on the 1 position, an in between on the two position and fog on the third position (its a rocker switch not the headlights and parking lights switch) It's on a 94 X. How would I wire it up and are Blazer fog lamps any good?? Thanks a lot
Anyone heard anything from Hella about the new lighting series? they were susposed to come out with a new light design yet i havent seen or heard anything about it. Im looking for a few more lights to put on my roof rack to go along with the daylighters. i want reverse lights too.. over all i think ill be up to 12.
(had to resize the images) So I decided that I would start another retro for my 2008 ST mainly due to the fact that i wanted a bit more light output and better aim. I removed to much of the bowl on my last build so my aiming was never perfect, now that i learned my lesson, i have decided to start fresh, new housings, new retrofit. If you're looking for parts to do your own or just want HID or LED lighting and other miscellaneous things, let me know. I own and operate dropgearz.com and i work for The Retrofit Source. I'm also doing a quad retro for my best friends 2014 Ram 1500 and one for my 2013 Rocket Bunny Scion FRS Parts list: -Morimoto Mini D2S 3.0 -Osram CBI D2S bulbs -Morimoto Matchbox 2.0 Projectors -Morimoto 5500k H1 XB Bulbs...
Since I don't have puddle lights on my mirrors I had to find a way to illuminate what was undearneath me when I opened the door to my X at night. I decided to get two 9 inch LED strips from superbrightleds and mount them on the door panels. I wired them to my courtesy door lights with quick disconects in case I needed to take the panel off. Here are some pics... http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2665/3461/6661730055_large.jpg http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2665/3461/6661730054_large.jpg If you can't link to them, go to my cardomain site and llok on page 6. Also, check out my new map lights. I ttok out the old leds as I shortaed out three of them by accident and did not want to rebuild them so I found some...

Finally got a new switch board drawn out, and about to get switches when I realized i had one more issue to tackle. Im looking at mounting the panel (2" widex3" long) between the visors, about 3 inches above the window, get my drift? Anyways, the toggle switches will mount about 2 inches deep, and i was wondering about clearence issues, will I have that much room to mount them? Cutting through that layer of sheet metal shouldnt be a problem, as long as i can get the wires out again. The switches, 4 of them are for a light bar on the top, so everything will be kept in a relativly small area, easy to work on. While im at it anyone know the best way to remove the headliner, so i can get in there to work? Ive taken a crack at it but...
Ok, so I'm searching around Ebay for a new Multifunction combination switch to put in my 1994 Explorer. One post said that the switch would work for an 90-94 ranger and 91-94 explorer. However they said to do research and I find google to be such a cluster#### that I was unable to find my answer. They look similar, but so did the Mustang switch that was improperly listed as the explorer piece I purchased from one ebay store. Short and sweet since I know not everone reads long entries. Can I use a 90-94 Ranger combination switch in a 94 Explorer?
