I would get just a click almost like the battery was dead but keep in mind all my power windows, radio, and accessories worked... Is there anything wrong with my engine? im hoping someone out there will know because I have no clue!!! could water have gotten into my engine through my intake? what can I do to fix this??? please help me
i was on my way to pick up my mom from the grocery store and i was moving along through the parking lot suddenly bam! this old vietnamese lady in a silver clk decided to rocket out of her parking spot without looking and backed out into my rear passenger fender.. :fire: she said " oh, did i hit you? i'm sorry, i was out swimming in the pool and i'm feeling a little bit dizzy.." wtf?!!! damage pics: do you guys think i could be covered with fender flares? i've been looking around and i really like those on the new ranger or something similar...
So it has happened again...this time it was a full roll. My first time was more of a flop and to be honest, that freaked me out more than this one. Maybe because I had a passenger (RockRanger) that time. The backstory is that I headed up to Big Bear today which is our local mountains here in So Cal and has some decent trails to wheel in the summer. I met my friend Tim with his TJ up there and our plan was to wheel the 2 hardest trails up there...Dishpan Springs and John Bull. We start off with Dishpan Springs and make it to to hardest part which is about midway through the trail. We are heading up and there is a group up top that was heading down but they waved us on so I proceed first. I take the hardline which is a fairly...
Well today my X was totalled. I have some pictures as well. The guy that caused the accident ran a red light and hit the driver side. Then pushed the X over to the curb and that's when the X went 1/2 on to is side when it hit a metal traffic light pole that smashed in the roof. the rear drive shaft ripped out, none of the doors close and some don't open. If i had a passenger they would have been killed. I escaped with a messed up sholdier but should be fine. If you have questions ask me. On to the pictures...... As a side note this was on Sat. The perfect night with this hot girl! :)
We'll I'm officially a member of the roll over posse as of this afternoon. First time out on a good trail with the new coil overs. I was trying some different lines than normal of course, seeing what it would do. Well... I found out what it wouldn't do. I placed a front tire on a rock... not even a very big one drove over it, the left rear tire started up it and the front right was down in an off camber loose down slope. Then it started to go over... super slow mo. I pushed the clutch in and it didn't help. At that point I looked at Char who was trying to stick her hand out! I yelled HANDS! And she yanked it in just in time to block a tree from hitting her in the face. Next thing we know we are looking at each other asking if...
Well, the night after Johnstone cracked open his pumpkin, I decided I needed to destroy something on my truck. I noticed a funny noise while out wheelin, and since it was late, I decided to just unlock the hubs, shift into 2hi and head home. Checked it out tonight, and horrified myself. looks like I'm going to need a new axle shaft. oops.... This pic was taken about a week earlier, when I decided to pull into a huge mud hole, get stuck and take some good stuck pics. And one last one, this was the entertainment at the creek for the nite (if this is inappropriate, let me know- but I was sure to use a pic where they were covered up)
Waiting is OVER! The truck I was driving! This picture was taken on Christmas... Later that night...March 11th 2007 March 11th 2007 I was throw 30 yards from my truck. I was in coma for a month, brain surgery, left arm rebuild, and got out of the hospital a month after waking up...So that was 2 months in the hospital...Its now been a year
Ok guys I got quite a few PM's over this from this board and from a couple others that I post on. Let me state that everyone here that reads this it might not apply to your specific application, but it sure is a hella lot cheaper to check than it is to find out like I did. Yes this is a re-post from another thread but I thought it needed to be here too! Start original post here: Ok as most of you know, I'm a pretty die-hard Ford kinda guy, with a few exceptions. That doesn't mean that Ford doesn't come up with some really dumbass-riffic-stupendiously-geniusomatic, stupid **** for brain ideas. So my story begins: Well as we all know, the last time I went wheeling I lost the oil pump in my 224k mile motor, eh not so...
BenS and I went wheeling at rockaway on sunday, couple of inches of snow on the ground and fairly easy trails. We're going on this one trail that's pretty easy and we're coming to the end, round a right turn and i start to head down a hill, I didn't realize how steep and slippery it was. I slid down into a tree hitting the door and part of the body. Get down to the bottom and get out and see Ben slid into the same tree head on taking out his bumper, headlight, corner lens and fender. I break out the come a long winch him back from the tree and he slides down and gets his truck up on a rock and takes out his rocker. this is around 12:30 or so, I try to continue down the trail and side into a tree taking out my drivers side mirror and...
