why a transfer case swap?

to get the right yoke setup for the drive shaft?

I love the look! if mine only looks half as good I will be happy. if it turns out to be closer to what you have done I will be beside myself!

nice truck
how does it steer?
why didnt you go high steer? you have a fancy knuckle with a flat top for high steer, but you decided to bend the tie rod and put it under the leafs.
just asking - not dissing your setup

to answer a few questions.
I do have complete high steer now. 2 REID knuckles and sky manf arms. I no longer have the himes. I am using 1 ton chevy tres. I have a 99 2wd superduty pitman arm 8in long for full steering and better ratio. I also am in the proscess of making a removable quick disconect trac bar. i am using jks jeep ccherokee quick disconect sway bar end links. I will get pics of. its great now tho. Can go down interstate all day running 80 with a jeep on a trailer behind it. tows better than before, better mpg, better power, better ride, less steering wondering. I love it

The t case swap yes is for the drive shaft unless someone knows how to put a flange on this one. I do believe i have a 31.5 spring perch width. Been a whyle since we did it.

It is doing fine. I have to put bump stops in up front and a driveshaft still. Other than that I got about 4500 on swap and its doing great

Very Nice

Well Done. I always been eying the SAS but went with the SuperLift instead. Was cheaper in the end.

I might see you rolling around VA.

Sweet Truck !! The build came out Great ! Happy Wheeling !!

Wow, I just ran across this and it is one of the cleanest looking SAS explorers I've seen! I really like how the manual hubs show through the wheel center caps. Really nice! Any pictures of it in action?

Very Nice build. I think you did a great job on it, clean, simple.

Can you post a pic of your front rear spring mount setup? Also any updated pics of the trac bar setup and high steer and Tre's?

Also, one other thing, the rear 8.8, are those F-150 rear springs or Ex springs?

And you say OEM 5 leaf waggy springs, do you mean oem Jeep Wagoneer and if so what yr and I am assuming rear springs to a moderen wagoneer instead of a older 70's front springs due to the fact you mentioned 5 leafs pper pack and I think the front 70's units had like 7 or 8 leaf front packs.

I would also like to see some more info and pictures of the front end.

Looking really good, I am making some mental notes about how you did things. It turned out really well.

HELLO, anyone out there?

so is the front an 8 lug and the rear a 5 lug? nice swap btw

why the hitch receiver in the front?

Mr. Toombs lives close to me, I saw his rig on Craigslist (for the tires) and contacted him to see if he was on here.. well.. found out he is and has since forgotten his email and log in :(

Not sure what he's up to now but I think he's moved on to a new project :/

Bummer I was hoping to see some pics of the steering box set-up for some ideas.

Nice Rig!

Did you use your rear hitch for a front cross member? (the front cross member looks super clean btw) All you need is a rear recovery point and a front driveshaft! Truck looks incredible!
