New shocks choice

I think it's time for new shocks. My 2008 at has 85k miles and still on the same shocks. After doing some research I see people replacing them around 50-60k. Mine might be long overdue. It rides just fine but I might just be used to it. Looking for recommendations on what shocks you guys have and is the project easy even with the springs? Thanks for any help.
