I got em through 1Aauto. I tried them instead of rockauto which is who I normally get aftermarket stuff through so we will see. Im dealing with them on a tail light issue right now so I will reserve my opinion until I see how they decide to handle the situation.
1Auto sounds familiar to me on ebay.Dam those lights are clear.I thought my original 98 lights were clear ! And they are but dam the reflectors in yours seem extra reflective ! more then the stock ford ones.I need to find a way to get that orange reflector out from the corner light.I wish someone made clear corners.
No I bought them directly off of 1Aautos site after seeing them post some on the forum. I didn't even know they had that but the price looks basically the same so I personally wouldn't even worry about trying to order from the ebay store.
That is true from one perspective. From the other though you usually feel like it is more reputable when they have a nice website and keep up to date on the forums. Versus if I would have just come across them on an ebay search.
The new taillights I ordered came in with some very faint scratches which is what I was referencing to in my initial post. I emailed them wanting at least a discount or small refund because I didn't want to have to take the time to mail them back. Initially they said the only thing they could do was exchange them. When I sent a stern message back I got a new reply that they could either partially refund me or exchange for new.
That was an incorrect statement albeit at the time I did not know that and literally within 5 minutes I got a call from them. I never even gave them my number through the emails nor told them to call me, I guess just through my original order placement. They wanted to call and apologize voice to voice and explain that the email I just received was incorrect. They can only do partial refunds on headlights but cannot on taillight assemblies. So while I wasn't necessarily thrilled that I was no longer getting a partial refund, I did like that they cared enough and took the initiative on their own to want to call me and get it straightened out that quickly.
You know what they say, customer service is more important than the actual products that are sold.
