  • I have a good one....I started to hear a grinding when turning right only. I changed the axles..still grinding. I changed the wheel hub assemblies (Moogs)....still grinding. In changing the hubs, I noticed a groove on the inside of the brake rotor, didn't think anything of it at the time. It got to grinding so bad one time that I pulled over and laid under the call and felt all around. The groove on the rotor is in line the lower control arm. How could the control arm or part right there be able to hit the rotor while turning? If I slow turn nothing but with 'leaning" weight in does it. Is this bad ball joints, tie rods, what??? Thanks for the input. I am taking to a mechanic friend of mine but would like to heat your thoughts before then.
