I agree. they suck.. the "lowest" setting is way to sensitive/fast.. I've used it on my wife's Nissan for 4 years now and they have it nailed perfectly. I just leave it off and do it manually. (or use the first auto setting as my always on slow)

The question is.. what does it say to use on the side of the tire? I start from there an make any decision for higher/lower etc.

it's an important distinction though as the "enabling" of the heat could be tied to the mirror position or the full ignition and helps "ford" identify where the problem is. When I started mine, I pressed the mirror button to move them out so I could take the pictures properly..
