Was doing some tune up stuff and noticed this piece hanging. It’s had to have been off for awhile now because I don’t ever remember seeing it before. What does it do and where does it go? It doesn’t really seem to have a place that the wires can stretch to.

Is this the same procedure used for the parking brake? Cause it doesn't really hold in the driveway, I don't know how long it would take to slow down from 60, 7-8 times. I do smell burning brakes when I leave it on sometimes.

Doesn't having a dual inlet muffler kinda do the same thing as an X pipe?
