looks like no spark plug at home.....need to suck the water out of the spark plug well and cylinder then rotate engine over by hand....slowly

the company that makes those will also do limited run custom headers so perfect fit to an X....so bulk purchase anyone...?...i'm down

don't stress out too much just yet...photos were good....but from what i could see....spark plug well is full of water....usually WON'T happen if the spark plug has been blown out , i suggest getting the water out ...and a few more pics for a clearer understandin' of what's goin' on...

should be ok to just fix the one ....but the major is if the spark plug thread has stripped out....i have a few spare coils floatin' around....best bet is pull off the engine cover and take a look

or to record the number plate of the stupid sumbitch that cut ya off....(for later consideration)...?

get under ...find gear selector....loosen....get up....get in....put shifter into P.....get under.....**** around with gear selector and neutral safety switch 'til it all lines up.....www.fknsorted.com

busted coil man....pull off engine cover and look for the hole with no coil in it......MAY have blown spark plug out of its seat (given y'all said it got louder)...might have to invest in a spark plug reseat kit...can help ya source parts if'n ya want.....chur NB: do NOT hold onto that and get...

tensioner lash in a 4.6l is by both ratchet spring(as a tension lock/anti release) and hydraulic fyi......had the same issue....replaced the tensioners with the older cast iron units (have seen the newer plastic based units fail)....problem went away......cheers

brittle plastic (cracks in the intake manifold....? )

might need to reinstall cv ends......the outer ones...the hub nut and splined end hold the hub and bearings in place....?pulls it together ..?

as racprops said ...check both ends of linkage........also front of shifter ...little round plug type dohickey...open...push long screwdriver into it...manual shifter release.....

out of round tyres...?
