Why? They work better than anything I’ve had before.

I installed the Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. I yank a 4,300 boat around and wanted rotors that won’t warp when I make a hard stop. So far they’ve been excellent.

Anyone ever replace the spark plug wires on an '03 Exploder 4.6 V-8?

Put 4 Rancho struts on my '03 a couple of years ago. The "Quik Lift" ones on the rear brought the rear end up about 1 1/2" over stock. Great if you're hauling heavy loads or towing. My mechanic took it for a test ride and said it was the best riding '03 he's ever driven. They're not cheap but...

Thanks for the info. Think I'll try the sanding and painting route first. If I botch that job, I'll go withe the cover up pieces.

Like many other Exploder owners, I too have the hideous, faded out pillar posts between drivers windows and passenger windows and between rear window and tailgate. One poster said to sand with 600 and follow up with 800 wet sanding. Looks like I'll try to remove posts and go this route. Bought...
