No longer an explorer owner,due to engine failure...sold and upsized to an expedition eddie bauer.. do i need to cancel my membership here now?

Help!!!
After going up hill, long hill home from a night out...my pinging noise started to become a steady tap, now it seems to ease up once warmed up, changed oil as told by ford service manager..pulleys seem ok, but using a stethoscope on each valve cover..no tapping noise but its heard pretty goo don the intake manifold,im almost ready to give up and sell it but like this truck too much...
