Hello I need help lol

Howdy howdy everyone. I desperately need some help. I have an 02 explorer and it ran fantastic since I got it. I parked it one night and then went to leave for work the next morning and jumped in it and when I turned the key, it made an awful noise like something trying to turn but was being stopped by another piece of metal. Then the motor acted like it seized up. I waited about a week and thought what the heck I'll try it again and it made the same grinding noise and ran for a second and then seized again. I'm afraid to keep messing with it. Anyone have any ideas????

Hard to say, could be something simple as the starter failing, and not pulling back from the flywheel.

Try jump starting it. Low battery voltage will make the starter make funny noises and fast clicks.
