Accel 49502: SuperTuner Performance Handheld Tuner Ford | JEGS

I’m wondering if it does what is says. I’m not looking to turn my ‘02 XLS 4.0 into a 5.0, but I would like to firm up the shifts, and who wouldn’t want better MPG when your easy on the throttle and a bit more power at WOT?

I plan to add a Cold Air Intake, & Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 exhaust in the spring and was hoping the SuperTuner would help me get the most from them.

Is there a better cost-effective option for what I want to do?

SCT is by far the flasher of choice for earlier Explorers. Regarding SCT dealers or custom tuners, do some research. GL
