Monty vs Explorer fog lights.

I have searched and searched. From what I have read is that the fogs lights in the 06+ Montys are bigger then the explorer ones.(plus 2-3 times the price.) Is this true? Has anyone tried fitting one into another. I need a passenger side fog light. My lense fell off and the bulb has burnt out. Any suggestions. I would like the halo projector lights from Amazon, but someone said the output isnt worth it. Im open to diy custom setups as options. Thanks

No they are just the opposite, the 4th Gen Explorer fog lights are longer. Just replaced mine from RockAuto. I also own a 2008 Mountaineer and tried them in my Explorer too short.
